"Centorizzonti" Theatre Season
Period: January - March
Duse Theatre - Festival. Great and original representatives of the Italian theatre scene stop off at Asolo. Asolo is linked with the other one hundred horizons with a sort of Arianna's thread running through them all.

The ancient fair of San Gottardo
Period: April - May
The traditional village fair and the exhibition/market of Cuchi (traditional whistles) of many types are held in the green oasis of San Gottardo. A great chance to taste the simple flavours of Veneto cuisine and the semi-sweet wines from the Asolan hills.

Asolo Cartoon Preview
Period: April - May
The International Cartoon Festival, born in Asolo in 1974, with the active participation of Flavia Paulon. Originally conceived as an informal gathering of the greatest names in Italian animation and young people from the province of Treviso, (artists like Bruno Bozzetto, Osvaldo Cavandoli, Pierluigi De Mas, Giuseppe Laganą, Nedo Zanotti and Guido Manuli, it soon became the "Amici di Asolo" or friends of Asolo, which then gave birth to the "Club degli Amici di Asolo" in 1982), the event was held in Asolo annually for twelve years (1974 - 1986) and then moved to Treviso for the last three years (1986-88), before taking a long break. Refounded by the A.I.A.F., Asolo International Art Festival, and renamed the AsoloCartoonFestival in 2003, it devoted the first year of the new course to a revival of the Friends of Asolo.

Arcipelago Musica (Music Archipelago)
Period: May
An outdoor music festival staged along the streets, in the squares, courtyards and under the arcades of the city. Classical, ethnic and medieval music, street jazz and singer songwriters as well as opportunities for audience participation, juggling and other street entertainment will be staples of a cheerful day that will aim to actively involve the people in the events.

Culture week
Period: May
A week devoted to "Asolan treasures": in other words the opening of the City of Asolo's historical monuments and the inauguration of new routes to follow. Coinciding with the Ministry for Cultural Heritage's initiative, cultural events and events designed to give a fuller picture will be held in conjunction with the Veneto Monuments and Fine Arts department and the voluntary associations of the city. These include the unusual opening of the monuments free-of-charge with guided sightseeing tours of the city, the Museums, the Bot (the old Roman aqueduct, the Fortress and the Maglio of Pagnano (ancient forge). G.Marco Migliorini Prize for Degree theses on the Asolo area and city will be awarded during this period.

Fantadia - Multivision festival
Period: May (held every second year)
International Multivision Festival celebrating the technique uniting the two powerful artistic expressions of music and photography creatively. Marco Polo Multivisioni and Parallelo Multivisioni display some of the most significant works in the recent history of multivision.

Serate Asolane (Asolan Evenings)
Period: May
Great musical concerts of various genres and outstanding performers.

Asolibri - Festival of Books, Literature and Authors
Period: May - June
A project that combines meetings with famous authors, readings and entertainment for children with the more traditional book fair spread over three locations in the city centre according to the type of reader targeted.

Pomeriggi Asolani (Asolan Afternoons)
Period: May - June
A series of classical music concerts set in the Renaissance Sala della Ragione.

Cinema sotto le stelle (Cinema under the stars)
Period: July
The best films of the last cinema season shown in the fully summer version of "Cinema under the Stars" at the sports ground in Villa d'Asolo, Casella and Pagnano.

Opera Estate Festival (Opera Summer Festival)
Period: July-August
Theatrical events of the summer season.

Calici di Stelle (Wineglasses under the stars)
Event 10 August
Evening aimed at the promotion of the typical produce of the territory. Promoted in conjunction with the Cittą del Vino (Wine Cities) association, St. Lawrence's night is spent in the evocatively beautiful city centre raising glasses to the stars.

Livestock and agriculture machinery fair
Period: the Monday after Easter Monday and August 15th
This is the very old (over a hundred years) Fair of the Eighth Day after Easter and the Assumption of our Lady.

International Chamber Music Festival - Incontri Asolani
Period: August-September
Incontri Asolani, or Asolan Meetings, the International Chamber Music Festival, has always been a rendezvous for artists, ideas, new proposals and rediscoveries in a venue heavily imbued with art history.
In the Church of San Gottardo deep in the green of the Foresto Vecchio and at the Eleonora Duse Theatre in the Castle of Queen Cornaro, there are encounters with musicians playing with the influences of differing styles and genres on each other, expanding and varying their offerings with the love for tradition and the curiosity of experimentation.

Season at the Teatro dei Rinnovati
Period: August - September
Now a ten-year-old prestigious tradition of the Prose Season constituting an important cultural event, not only for our community. Traditional, amateur, professional and children's' performances (theatre and cinema) can be the staples of this important season.

Asolo art film festival
Period: November
Revived in 2001 in Asolo to follow the "Festival of Film on the Art and Biographies of Artists" founded in 1973 by Flavia Paulon, inspirer of the Venice Film Festival. The festival in Asolo, the first of its kind, is also important internationally for the participation of Italian and foreign critics and renowned directors like Andrej Tarkovskij, Luciano Emmer, Adrian Maben, Henri Stork, Delmer Daves, Jean Rouch, Gregory Markopoulos and Mario Martone.

Asolan New Year
Period: December - January
Music Festival that is held in the Cathedral of Asolo. Some of Italy's leading musicians often world renowned perform a repertoire of sacred music. Each Sunday in Advent and on other holidays until January 6.

Antique fair
For over twenty years, this has been a ritual event for all antique lovers. More than one hundred exhibitors from all over Italy present some of the most interesting offerings from the antique world: furniture, jewels, silverware, prints and books, modern antiques and collectable items in general.
